About Memtest86 +:
The first version of Memtest86 + was released at the beginning of 2004, on the basis of memtest86 v3.0 that has not been updated since mid-2002. The challenge of the new Memtest86 + is to offer an updated version of this useful tool, as reliable as the original.
To start we need a Pendrive of at least 512MB of space and the USB version of MemTest86 + that you can download here at the end of the post.
Step 1– Connect your Pendrive to the USB port and run MemTest86 + USB Installer
Step 2– Select the letter assigned to your Pendrive to indicate the correct unit you want to use. It is recommended to format the unit to create a pendrive bootable with MemTeste86 +, but keep in mind that you will lose the data stored in your flash memory, back up if necessary.

How to verify
Do this every time you want to use this program to check the memory:
- Make the usb memory boot first than the hard drive at the time of preder (confirm in the bios)
- After starting this way the PC will see the program screen, Wait for the check to start on its own. Or press the F1 or F2 key to choose the default mode or one that is faster in principle.
- IMPORTANT: If pressing F2 does not start the check or the PC crashes, restart and test with F1.
- The program makes several "passes" of verification. Look at the percentage of the "Pass" that is on the top right. When you complete the 100% and finish the check you will see below a summary message (in English).
- If the memory has errors, they will be highlighted in red. If it's OK, the message in English will tell you that the pass has been completed and that there are no errors.
- When the test is finished press the Esc key and REMOVE THE USB quickly. Windows will start as usual.
- IMPORTANT: Repeat the test again in case there are errors. If the program detects them again, it is prudent to replace the damaged memory.
